Filtering and cumulative totals year on year

Hi

I am looking to create a pivot chart that can filter by category and also carry forward a cumulative total year on year based on the filtered selection.
I am sure this is possible but cannot work out how to do it, the (very user friendly) example is attached.
Any help greatly appreciated!

Hello shtev0 and Welcome to Excel Forum.
Not exactly sure what may be looking for, however perhaps either the pivot table on the PQTable & PT1 sheet or the PT2 sheet will be close.
Note that the original arrangement of the data is not conducive to producing a pivot table so Get & Transform (aka Power Query) is used to convert the original data into "records" format.

Both pivot tables can be filtered by fruit and/or shape.
