Search through list to find if value exists

Hello,

I was trying to construct a pivot table for this problem but it wasn't working out as intended. I have attached a workbook.

I am trying to find out if an employee worked on a given day and need to return a yes/no value in the pivot table. The workbook has a tab for data and another tab where the results shouild be displayed.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You
