Trying to change the bounds of the x axis of a line graph

I know this sounds super simple, but I've been searching online and trying to figure it out for days now. I have a simple line graph:

and the x axis is a series of data, various points from 0 to 139. I simply want to change the way the x axis is displayed so it goes from 0 to 160, with intervals of 20. Am I missing something simple here? Any help would be appreciated.

Line charts have categories, or dates, on the horizontal axis.

If you want a numeric horizontal axis you need to use a xy-scatter chart type

Thanks for the info, I didn't realise this. So there's no way I can have a line graph with custom x axis limits?

Yes, use a xy scatter chart.
Use the format of lines and markers

Thank you Andy Pope! So relieved to find this as I've been nearly pulling my hair out with frustration. Wasted the last hour trying to figure out what was going on and couldn't find the answer online until now. Thanks!
