The x-axis is showing dates, but I'd like to highlight those that are weekends (Sat/Sun). Is it possible to have this occur automatically? I'm currently using a low-opacity overlay, but I have to move each of them as days are added to the data table.
I don't know of a way to make them bold or a different color automatically but you can format them to show the day of the week (Sat 4/11/2020). Or instead of highlighting the axis labels you can use two different data series and make the weekend data a different color.

The only way to format individual points on the axis label is with custom number formats. In this case it will not work to catch weekend dates.
You can build your own axis labels with additional series, using their data labels. The 2 series can be formatted differently and by use of formula points can be displayed or suppressed.
