Pivot Table multiple sets of data needing combined.

Hi Guys, I just taught myself pivot tables the other day as a way to help my company interpret data faster. They want to do something way complicated to get what they want and I am trying to prove that excel can do this for us. But I need Help. Spreadsheet Attached.

Ultimately what I want to know is this:

For Rents I want to know the Average per Floorplan type but only on Occupied units. (So filter out Vacant and Vacant-Leased) Here is the catch. In column B there is unit designation. Where the designation is "Transitional Renovation" I want that averaged with its counterpart floorplan which is the floorplan minus the .R.

So Essentially I want Average of all A1 N/A Designations together with A1.R Transitional Renovation Designation.
    Then I want A1.R N/A designation averaged.

Then the Same for BLDGFEE (column E) and total Column F

Lastly I would also like a count for each of the above categories. So Number of A1 N/A + A1.R Transitional Renovation and a Count for A1.R N/A

Then this would repeat for each floorplan type (ie B1, B2, S1)

After working on this for hours I am unable to setup the pivot table to give me this info. Any help is greatly appreciated!

    Hey Steve,

See the attached as I think it is close.

You might need a "helper" column or multiple Pivots to do all the above. I really didn't understand some of your requirements.

    I hope this helps..
