    Borders in Pivot Table

I have a series of pivot tables all generated from the same data source, however when I update (or Refresh) them on one of the tables it puts in what appear to be random borders within the table. I can format the cells and remove / delete these borders but they are back again the next time I do a Refresh. I have set the PT Options to "Preserve cell formatting on update" and it only happens on one of the tables; I cannot see why this would be - anyone got any ideas about how to stop it?

    Thanks in advance

This link points to a site that explores the lack of format preservation. It might help you.

    Re: Borders in Pivot Table

Thank you for that link, it has shown me a few things I did not know before, but didn't help my in this situation.
However I have been playing around with various settings and found that I solved the problem when I UNCHECKED the "Preserve cell formatting on update". I don't know why it works, but as it seems to do I'm now happy.

Thanks for your time on this matter
