    Pivot table and percentage numbers

    Hi guys,

I'm trying to take a row from my data sheet and present it in a pivot table as average percentage, the issue is that the numbers are already in percentage(it is a COUNTIF formula) and I need to get a average!

I have tried creating a calculated field with the average of that row without success and google around, now i am hoping for your help!

Created a test document to illustrate the problem, I want to use the column "Total Readiness" in a pivot!

    Thanks alot!

Re: Most likely a simple question..?

    Try
    • Summarize value field by: Average
    • Number format: Percentage | Decimal places: 0

I noticed that the numbers wouldn't change, so all I did was remove the Total Readiness field from Values then re-insert it (remember to do the above.)

Welcome to the forum! Please take a moment to re-read forum rule #1 and then amend your thread title to something that better explains your problem. Changing your thread title is not optional, which means you must change it. Thanks!

    • Use concise, accurate thread titles.
    • Your post title should describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.
    • Use terms appropriate to a Google search - poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice tell us nothing.
    • Responding to a request to change your thread title by doing so is mandatory.

To change a title go to your first post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title.

No help to be offered, please, until the OP complies with this request.
