I wondered if anyone can help...
I have a log of dates of mail outs in one worksheet, I need some form of reminder when to send the next one out on my dashboard on another worksheet which would tell me which are due this week and which ones are overdue. Ive attached a sample

You can use a couple of pivot tables, with the data in sheet [LOG] as the source.
For 'Due' values, filter the 'Due Date' on "This Week"
For Overdue, add a (hidden) 'Status' column, filtered to exclude "UPDATED", 0 and blanks.

Thanks so much Olly, thats great and works a treat. Is there a way to sort the due columns in date order. I right clicked and selected sort but doesnt seem to work

They are in date order (ascending) ...

I added two new entries to the log the first has a dues date of 24/7/17 but appears at the bottom of the this week sort. The second had a overdue date of 6/4/17 but doesnt seem to appear in the overdue column. I have refreshed - see attached
Any ideas?

Okay - to sort by dates first, the date field needs to be the first Row field.
And I've changed the filter on (hidden) row field 'Status', to "Does not begin with...", value "-".
Updated attachment shows changes.
