Distributing data from Pivot Table to multiple sheets.

Essentially, I will like to distribute the same exact information listed on the input sheet to the matching area sheets. For example Downtown will go to downtown and Uptown will go to uptown sheet etc...
I will have 3 different people assigned by Area. After they enter the information in the Status of call & Notes column. I will like to refresh the pivot sheet so I can see how many were scheduled at the end of the work day. Note: I will be sharing the sheets on a separate workbook, so I will have them connected to the pivot table. From my understanding you cannot share a pivot table. For this particular reason I would have them on a shareable workbook. I just want to know if there's a way to distribute this table by Area to different sheets within the sample workbook.

    Thank for the help!

Let me see if I understand the requirement. First you want to take the input data and distribute it to the three areas. Then you want the people in each area to work on a personal copy and then you want to merge all the areas back in. This sounds like something a database can do very well with a front end and back end. Each person gets a front end with access only to data that the person needs.

Have you considered a database solution to this? If cost is a factor, the only people who need a full Access license are the developers. All others can use free, runtime-only licenses. These have full functionality with the exception that they can't create / change / delete existing tables, queries, forms, etc. which is probably what you want anyway.

P.S. You can still import the Access database or use MS-Query to access it to do the pivot table and any other reporting the data will support.

One spreadsheet to rule them all. One spreadsheet to find them. One spreadsheet to bring them all and at corporate, bind them.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
