Pivot Table from Horizontal table Data

I have table with the horizontally data arranged in it (file attached). Is it possible to make pivot table based on that table?

Dear Jean-Eric,

Thank you for your respond. it seems that we have to make the table first for transposing the data before we make the pivot table. Anyway, the date format was change; on first table the date is 1 Jun 2016 but on the new table was 1 Jan 2016. how to fix that? Also if i want to add new item (ie. item7, Item8,...also amt7,amt8,..) how we add in the VBA script? Why you put blank column between item and amt?
