Progress Chart Help

I'm trying to create something similar to a stacked bar chart or Gannt.

What I have is several activities (A, B, C, etc.) taking place along a route. The route runs from 0 to 650000 feet (or whatever I set the length). Each day an activity occurs from one part of the route to the next. I want to show where that activity occurred and when.

In essence, it will look like what I attached (sample.png), though with more of the scale along the horizontal axis, and possibly date labels for each progress bar along the associated horizontal bar. (apologies for the gigantic image, but I was in a hurry and slopped it together in photoshop).

Each activity fills what's done as it's completed along it's associated row.

I've attached a sample data table (no correlation to the sample image)

Thank you in advance for any help/suggestions on this. I've been pounding my head on my desk trying to get this working.
