Hello. I created a unique column that puts the value 1 for every unique item, and "" for non-unique (duplicates) essentially. Is there a better way to handle duplicats with pivot tables? Weirdly, the count seems to count blanks. Why is this?

"" is included in the count because "" is still a valid entry.
Set your data field to SUM instead of COUNT, and you will get the count of the unique items.
