Need to group data by Referral, then grouped by Client Code, show total balance

    Hi Everyone,

I would greatly appreciate your help. I have a spreadsheet with 2000 rows of account records. I need to group them by the Referral field, then by Client Code, and show all records with the total balance for each client, in descending order. The client with the highest balance in each Referral group would be displayed first, the second highest balance, listed second, and so on.

I've tried doing this with a pivot table but I haven't been successful. I would appreciate some advice on how to achieve this with step by step instructions.

I have attached a sample file.

    Thank you kindly,
    Tess
