    Chart top 10

I am trying to make a chart of the top 10 values in a pivot table. the table is arranged in alphabetical order with their corresponding values next to them. I tried to use VLOOKUP AND INDEX/MATCH, to return the text to the left of the top 10 numbers, however; it those functions don't seem to work on pivot or regular tables for that matter. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Re: Chart top 10

That just shows me how to sort the top 10, I already know how to do that. I want to be able to see a "CHART" at all times showing the top 10 items in my pivot table without actually having to change anything on it. If it was just DATA that's not in a pivot table or regular table, Vlookup or Index/Match would allow me to create a separate table that always shows the top 10 which then I could build my chart off of, but those functions don't seem to work with tables!

    Hi Luigi,

A Pivot Chart will give you what I think you want. You can filter by "Top 10". See the attached for a sample of what I mean.
