1,000,000 rows, powerpivot vs. pivottable

Is there any advantage to using powerpivot over pivottables if you have 1,000,000 row table?

Maybe from a creating formul perspective powerpivot is better? Like let's say I want to add a formula in a row, in regular excel that freezes up the sheet. Maybe in powerpivot it doesn't? Muito obrigado gente.

It seems to me that in this case it is easier to create a PT based on data from the references Power Query (combine multiple tables)
