Hi, all. I have looked through the other posts and can't find anything obvious that answers my question so hopefully someone with better knowledge than me (not difficult) can answer so an idiot like me can understand.
I have a document in Excel 2010 with around 15 - 20 pivots, from around 5 or 6 different data sources so I am controlling the dates using Slicers so I dont have to change all the dates in each pivot.
However, I may wish to add more pivots from different data sources which means more Slicers and things will start to get messy...
What I was hoping for was that I could have a drop down of the dates somewhere so each Pivot can read that so I am only changing one thing instead of the 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 (or however many I end up with) Slicers. Sadly it's not as simple as sticking "=" and then the cell.
Can it be done? If yes does anyone know how? And more importantly can you put it into terms that a simpleton like me will understand?
Many thanks in advance.
