Hello I have attached an image. I put text boxes into multiple charts on my excel and even though I grouped them, when I zoom in and out of the page, or save the document these boxes move up and down and don't stay where I put them. Any idea why?

Hi mecexcel,
It seems to be one of the features of Excel.
The following thread experienced the same problem (see posts #2 and #4). If I remember correctly, I was successful in Excel 2003, but only partially successful in 32 bit Excel 2010. http://www.excelforum.com/excel-char...ml#post4124004
I believe I had the best success using '(Rectangle) Shapes' and not TextBoxes.
I hope this helps.

You could perhaps use a 100% stacked bar chart instead. Then you wouldn't need to add text boxes to label the categories.
Everyone who confuses correlation and causation ends up dead.
If you right click on one or more selected text boxes you will get "Size and Properties" as an option
Under that is "Properties"
Then you have 3 options as to how you want your text box to move and size when you change the underlying cells
If you group ítems in 2013 it is still posible to move the ítems relative to each other. If you group 2 ítems (e.g. a text box and a chart) the you will get 3 outlines with handles, 1 each for the textbox and the chart and one for the group as a whole, make sure you select the group one, and not the individual ones, and then the text box and chart will move and scale together
Note that scaling a text box does not change the Font size, you have to do that manually
