Dynamic graph driven by input-driven named ranges

I'm trying to have this graph that updates based on user inputted data. I've done something similar before but I think it was with Excel 2007 and now I'm in 2010 and things aren't working. I've looked online and read about having to make sure the named lists are "fully qualified reference." I've done that, and it'll work for a little bit of time, but then it stops shortly thereafter and doesn't update.

I'm not sure if it matters whether I use line graphs or scatter graphs. I think based on what I'm looking to do I want to have a line graph with the dates formatted as text, but maybe that's worth exploring once I can get through this initial issue.

I'm not sure really where to go from here so I'm reaching out to the community for either some helpful resources where I can find some proper information, or maybe something from someone that might know what's going on or how to fix this issue.

Take a look at the attached file. It has two options. A chart with dynamic named ranges and if you're now using Excel 2010 a pivot table and chart utilizing slicers. I've only applied 3 of the named ranges but perhaps you could try doing the remaining two yourself to get an idea as to how they work.
