Graph based on value in one cell ?

I have been stuck with this problem for a while and could`t find solid solution so ....

I have two columns of data and only certain portion of data sould be displayed in graph. The amount of data displayed will be determined by input value in one cell which is separate from two columns.
For example input value is 15 -> graph shows values from 1-15 from column 1 in x-axis and corresponding values from column 2 in y-axis.

Attachment "chart1" should explain my problem.

Solution for this might be something simple, but i cant figure this out because im not an expert in excel and not a smart man.

2 approaches I would probably use:

1) Filtering a list: https://support.office.com/en-US/Art...rs=en-US&ad=US You would enter your criteria (15) into a dialog box behind the autofilter arrows instead of in a cell. When a filter hides parts of a data set, the chart will usually follow suit.

2) If you are willing to use helper cells, you could add a couple of adjacent columns, and take advantage of how Scatter charts will ignore cells containing N/A (http://peltiertech.com/mind-the-gap-...g-empty-cells/ ). Enter the criteria (15) into a convenient cell. One column will have a formula like =IF(xvalue<=criteria,xvalue,NA()). The second column will have something like IF(xvalue<criteria,yvalue,NA()). Then build your chart on these helper columns.
