Pivot drill downs sorted in reverse order

I have a pivot table created from a sheet of rows with employee and date columns (among others) sorted by employee and date. When you double click on one of the employees on the pivot, the resulting sheet shows only that employee's rows from the main sheet all right, but they are sorted in reverse order by the date, not in forward order by the date as on the source sheet. How can I get the drill-down resulting rows to appear as they appear in the source sheet, sorted in forward order by date?

For example, and I can post an actual sheet if needed, the spreadsheet with the data on which the pivot is based says something like:

Fred 11/10/2014
Fred 11/22/2014
Fred 12/1/2014
Ginger 11/21/2014
Ginger 11/22/2014
Ginger 12/9/2014
Ginger 12/20/2014

Then I have a pivot table:

Fred 3
Ginger 4

If I double-click on the 4, the result is

Ginger 12/20/2014
Ginger 12/9/2014
Ginger 11/22/2014
Ginger 11/21/2014

Then I have to re-sort it to get it back the way it was with the dates sorted ascending. How can I either retain the original sort or put in some code so it sorts the way I want automatically when I do the drill-down?

I have never used VBA code in a spreadsheet. Have used much VBA in Access.

Hi - I have this same issue. Did you happen to get it resolved?

Obviously it is simple to work around this quirk... but it is just somewhat of a nuisance.
