I'm currently in the process of trying to simplify the way that my monthly accident figures are generated and I want to generate a 12 month rolling graph of numbers. I used to rely on data being pulled from the main log table, compiled in to another and then generate the graph based on that. Is there an easy way of doing this using a pivot? If so, could someone lead me by the nose as to how to do it please?
Attach a sample workbook. Make sure there is just enough data to make it clear what is needed. Include a BEFORE sheet and an AFTER sheet in the workbook if needed to show the process you're trying to complete or automate. Make sure your desired results are demonstrated, mock them up manually if needed. Remember to desensitize the data.
Click on GO ADVANCED and use the paperclip icon to open the upload window.

Sorry for the delay, it took quite a bit of work to get it to a small enough file size to upload and retain functionality.
What I want to recreate is the chart in 'totals' from the data in 'acc.log' as elegantly as possible. without having to move data to various tables etc.
Can anyone assist?
Just looking for the easiest way to create a constant rolling 12 months data with the minimum of user input to keep it up to date.
