Combining Different Data Sources

Hi, thank you for taking the time to answer this question

I would like to make a pivot table for a dataset that looks something similar to below
John Mary
Date Team Score Team Score
12/1/13 Red 20 Blue 5
12/2/13 REd 10 Blue 50
12/3/13 Red 14 Red 20
12/4/13 Blue 30 Red 30

As you can see they share same dates, and If i created pivot table the columns would show as Team 1, Score 1, which is something i would like to avoid.

Is there are Method where I can create a pivot table combine mary's Table with ONLY the Date column?
