calculate field

Hi everybody
My data is like here:
price number
100 2
200 3
300 5
500 1


now I want to use this in a pivot and I want to have total price for each row. (I mean I want to product price and number one by one)
if I use =number*price it calculate repeated data in wrong way.

Guess: please make sure there is not symbol $ (eg:$A$3) when u drag down the formula.

You'll have to do the calculation in the source data, or use PowerPivot. A regular pivot table will not do that calculation in a calculated field - it will always calculate =SUM(number)*SUM(price).
