Using Cell Reference to Insert Text Automatically on a Chart

I have a worksheet that contains the data for determining R-Squared (how straight is the data to form a line).

I graph the data points, and also show a linear Trendline.

I would like to have a text box that shows the R-Squared value to the use. This value is on the worksheet with the data.

Is there a way of doing this? Do I need to use VBA to do it?

Can you not plot a linear trendline for the R-Squared values and make the line "No Color"?

Insert a textbox on your graph. While drawning textbox, in your formula bar write the address it is to refer (the cell with the formula you want to display).

By the way, if it is just R2 value, you can also simply tick "show Rsquared on graph" in formatting of trendline. No calculations in sheet needed.
