need help with a selection field in a form

I building an access database to handle evaluations by employees of the performance of the Group leader. We tried this useing forms designed in excel with VB and it populated an excel sheet eith the reponces. the data was so scewed from alot of junk answers. So in Access I am building the asme with drop downs to pick the answers that best describes the issues. but first I need it to grab out off the employee excel sheet and the group leader spreadsheet so all the emploee has to do is click the pull down find his or her ID number click on it and if fills out all the information in the form like Shift,Location,Job Location Name ect. and Same when they pick the group leaders name the evaluation is on. I ave all the speadsheets built but cannot fet the form to do anything when I click on the ID I am missing something. Any Advice?

    Re: new to access

Your post does not comply with Rule 1 of our Forum RULES. Your post title should accurately and concisely describe your problem, not your anticipated solution.

Use terms appropriate to a Google search. Poor thread titles, like Please Help, Urgent, Need Help, Formula Problem, Code Problem, and Need Advice will be addressed according to the OP's experience in the forum: If you have less than 10 posts, expect (and respond to) a request to change your thread title. If you have 10 or more posts, expect your post to be locked, so you can start a new thread with an appropriate title.

To change a Title on your post, click EDIT then Go Advanced and change your title, if 2 days have passed ask a moderator to do it for you.
