Post Either BOF or EOF is true error!

In MS SQL server 2008 express edition, we are getting an error "Either BOF or EOF is true" and because of this Report in our application is not opening up.

In another application the same error appears while logging in a module and also the module is working fine.

    OS: Windows 7 professional

Please guide how to rectify the error. If possible in step by step method. Total summary, one of the important reports in our office is not opening up.

You need to post the code you are using. The error is that you sql returns nothing

fix the code to check for EOF and/or BOF before using the recordset. since you have given almost no information that's all I can say.
