converting YYYYDDMM to MMM YYYY in MS Access Query

Could you please help me converting YYYYDDMM to MMM YYYY in MS Access Query. The date is live database is in format YYYYMMDD and needs to be converting into in MMM YYYY format. Could you please help. Screen shot attached thanks

The date on live database is in format 20150101 and i need to convert it into Jan 2015. Can you please advise how we can do it, Thanks

Hi Kamboj, Thanks mate. its' a great help. The problem is that now its coming up datatype mismatch in criteria expression error. Is there something else I need to do, Thanks Lucky

for that you can use date in another field so that date function can be used or if you have any problem then upload the file with your example.

hey mate, I am using date function and its working fine as mentioned below. Don't know the above function you have advised is coming up with data mismatch error

Date_Open: CDate(Right([AAODTE],2) & "/" & Mid([AAODTE],5,2) & "/" & Left([AAODTE],4))
