Problems updating Pivot Table with new data

Dear Folks,

I am trying now for hours and hours to solve this problem, but always the same error message appears. It says "this command requires at leat two rows of source data. You cannot use this command on a selection in only one row." But this is wrong as I am selecting more than one row.

This is what I want to do:

I have an Excel file with data in it. I need to create a Pivot table to access and view data more easily. This has to be done every day for reporting. To make work easier I want to have a preset Excel file (with Pivot tables in it) in which I just clear the old data and copy/paste the new data and refresh the Pivot table to get the new results. Is that possible? Data amount will change therefore I think I need a dynamic Pivot table.
Columns are staying the same, only lines are changing (i.e. old data = 200 lines , new data = 250 lines)

It would be great if anyone can help me.
