    Need help with FileSearch function and Access2007/Excel2007

    Hi All,

    We recently upgraded to Office 2007 suite and now am having issues exporting data from Access. We are trying to export to Excel and the process fails at the FileSearch. I'm not a programmer and we don't have an Access DB programmer at our company. We are moving to SQL DBs and this is one of our remaining Access DB. Can someone be so kind as to help out? Thanks in advance!

    Below is where the error occurs in the coding:
    Function findFile(strTemp As String) As Boolean

    With Application.FileSearch

        .NewSearch
        .LookIn = filePath(strTemp)
        .SearchSubFolders = False
        .filename = filename(strTemp)
        .MatchTextExactly = True
    '    .FileType = msoFileTypeAllFiles
        If .Execute() > 0 Then
            findFile = True
        Else
            findFile = False
        End If
    End With
    End Function

    Hi sbmoffshore,

    Application.FileSearch went away with Access 2007 - See Link

    Hope this helps,
