How to keep several pairs of cells in sync by cross linking

I'm trying to have several pairs of cells linked such that A1 mirrors B1. Changing the value of either cell automatically changes the other cell.
    The code I found at
    http://www.excelforum.com/excel-gene...s-linking.html
works great, but only if you have 1 pair of mirrored cells.
I have eight pairs of cells that I'm trying to have mirror their linked counterpart.

I understand VBA a little but by no means an expert. I tried to just copy and paste the code and then change cell locations for the second set of cells, but that doesn't work.

Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Just put a formula in one of the cells setting it equal to the other cell.
If you only have 8 cells it will take longer to write the VBA code and I don't see the purpose.

Like so, just add all the pairs you want:

I need it to work so that you can input a value into either cell. If one cell is equal to another cell, then only 1 cell can be the "input" cell.

Understood, canselmi81, this is not an uncommon request. See post #3.

They are on the same sheet.

I didn't read your post thoroughly. You have a solution above. Maybe you are doing the same thing as I am which is reading the last post.
JBeaucaire has already given you a solution in the posts above this one.

Re: How to keep several pairs of cells in sync by cross linking

    Thanks JBeaucaire.
It's not working in the sheet I'm working in, but I tried it in a new, blank worksheet and it's working perfect. Except I had to delete the . before the 4th "cell.Value"

Not sure why it isn't working in the other sheet, but I'll figure it out. Thanks again. I certainly wasn't expecting such a quick reply.
