I am creating a budget tracking spreadsheet and enter financial spending values to keep track of finances.
In column A I have the days of the year listed from 1st January 2014 to 31 December 2014.
I am looking for a formula to automatically populate the value of a particular spend for the rest of the year.
Example: Where I am aware that a phone bill is payable on the same day each month (say 25th), I would like to include a formula in Column B which has the cost each month to include a value of say £25 to be included in the relevant cell corresponding with the 25th of each month in column A.
Does anyone know of a formula in can include to look up the date in column A and enter a corresponding value in column B under that heading (Phone Bill)?
I have attached a spreadsheet with the headings to demonstrate.
