optimizing any bottle neck in an excel workbook

    Hello

I wanted to ask you whether you know any good tool to analyze and search for any performance weakness that might be improved in an excel workbook. The thing is that I have a 130 MB excel workbook and I would like it to optimize it in order to avoid the long delay it takes in updating any cell: it takes from around 10 seconds and longer. I know it might take so long due to the use of some functions over a huge amount of data but I would like to know exactly where the bottleneck is.

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

That did not solve the problem.

I have a workbook that is huge. It has lots of worksheets with formatting and formulas. I need both formatting and formulas which according to the link you told me, might be the main reasons of my excel workbook performance problems in both computing time and file size.

However, I wonder whether there is any tool that analyzes all the details about the possibl performance bottle necks in my Excel Workbook.

    Thanks in advance
