This is my first time post. I am learning my way around excel more and more. However, some of the post I have read on the forum are genius! So here is my question:
I have a spreadsheet where I keep track of inventory. I am including a sample. I go through 5 different reports to manually search out each part number then adjust the quantities accordingly. The 5 reports I use I can place in a excel spreadsheet. It would save me a HUGE amount of time if I could copy in the part numbers and quantities from the reports into my main inventory sheet and have the part numbers match up so I could easily enter in the quantities for the month.
On my sample excel sheet:
-Sample Report= the report I would have in excel
-sample Inventory= my spreadsheet I work from. In cells L, M, N is copied from the report page. I would like cell L to be able to match in line with cell B in accordance with the part number.
I hope this makes sense. Please ask me any questions.
- I am unsure if this is EVEN possible. I tried various VLOOKUP and MATCH functions with ZERO luck.
