Create Min Avg Max points on excel chart linked to a number on X axis?

Sorry if my title description is confusing.

    Essentially I have this graph:

    sKKjzNG.jpg

Currently this is created on an XY scatter graph and i'm unable to add drop lines to link the three vertical points.

I've attempted to change the data to a line graph in order to add drop lines but then the x axis is simply labelled and not aligned to the actual bottom %. (E.g. Inn is roughly 21%)

Is there any simple way of doing what i'm after? create a min/avg/max point at the corresponding % on the x axis?

    Thanks for any advice!

If I understand what you are trying to do, I would probably use a single series with error bars, rather than using three separate series. https://support.office.com/en-us/art...5-864049a145f0

    Hi
I'm a bit uncertain as i attempted error bars before but could not get them to reach the max and min values that I have and for the points to be at the right % along the x axis?

    my example data is:

    mQm7VNb.jpg
where the first min avg max plot is at 52%, 2nd at 28% and 3rd at 20%.

Essentially I would like an automatic line to connect each set of 3 vertical points

just not sure how to go about it

This is a scenario where it would probably help a lot to have seen your failed attempts using error bars, so we could attempt to understand what you are wanting and what you have tried.

Are those the only values you have calculated? If so, you will also need to calculate the length of the error bars in a couple of helper rows. Should be as simple as 11%-3% and 3%-(-45%) (using appropriate references to those cells. Perhaps that is what you missed in your previous attempts?
