I found down that my reputation count was increasing more than 1 per rep-click from Guru/admin or advance users.
Is that true, and how many?
Maybe, for testing again, can any advance user give me a favor by giving me a rep here?![]()

Hi Quang,
I believe you get one rep point from people with no or very little rep but lots of rep points from people with lots of rep.
One test is worth a thousand opinions.
Click the * Add Reputation below to say thanks.
Each person's status on the forum is different, the test, were it even a good idea, would prove nothing to you other than the fact that power members have greater rep power, too.
There's no need to test your rep count by asking for reps.
Please just drop this topic.

Giving rep points is only for good or appreciated answers. If we were to all "test" how many points we got from others, it would invalidate the points themselves. It is like begging for rep points.![]()
We use rep points to see who has given great answers and not for testing how many we get. I hope you understand our reservation on giving you rep just because you ask for them...
As Jerry pointed out - and to answer your question - yes, different members have different rep "power", depending on their level. New users start with 1 or 2 rep "power", senior members have considerably higher "power", I have heard of (and know of) some being 20 or more.
I guess the concept is, when more senior members rep you, their opinion is worth more than newer members.
I hope this answers your question, so we dont need to "give away" reps just to see their values
1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)
2. If your question is resolved, mark it SOLVED using the thread tools

Yes, now I know advance users can give lot of rep points to others
(For rep count testing, just kidding LOL. BTW, my rep level has reached limitation already, no need to beg more!
)
Thanks everybody.

I believe that rep power also increases the longer that someone has been a member. Based on rep that I have had from long standing members (who do not have a "high" status) I think it goes up one point per year.

xladept, perhaps you missed the point where we advocate against giving reps just to see what your "power" is?
No Ford - I didn't do that! I repped Bebo, legitimately, several weeks ago!![]()
OK, misunderstoodsounded like you just rep'd him lol - apologies
No apology required - I rephrased my post for clarity![]()
