Almost 4 years passed, I've been seeing it every day, every time. especially seeing his/her post )

Is it time limit to be free from it?

How about you? Could you share yours?

I have 2, 1 from Cutter on 9/22/12 and 1 from NBVC on 02-10-2012 ...and I know many other mods/gurus/experts have some as well, apparently there is no way to remove them

Yep, I have 6, 4 red and 2 yellow. Mine are all nearly 5 years old. I'm sure I remember, in an earlier version of the vb software, that you could close the box up. They were still all there, but not in your face.

I suspect that moderation is not quite as heavy handed these days

I will leave that decision to "the powers that be".

The infractions can only be removed manually by an Admin, we don't really bother with that sort of things much. Sort of a badge of honor, really.

Old threads are often only monitored by the original participants. New threads not only open you up to all possible participants again, they typically get faster response, too.
