    Print titles - basic question

The "print titles" option under page setup/sheet is grayed out. How can
I get it to work since I have multiple sheets that I need to carry over
the titles when I print out the sheets?

The titles I need are not in the first column or row. I see how it is
    done if it was available.

If you are accessing Page Setup from the Print Preview screen, those options will be grayed out. You need to access it from the main menu: File>Page Setup | Sheet.

    Does this work for you?

I recently came up against the same problem. My question is, why does Excel
gray out the options when viewed from Print Preview? It seems to let you
make just about any other change from that view, why not the print area or
    print titles?

I expect because it would take too much work to 'redraw' the existing print
    preview screen.

Yep. I was accessing it from print preview, since I do most of my page
    setup there.

Did not think to use the FILE/page setup since I thought it would be
    grayed out there too.

    Thanks.
