Red face Row of totals of columns always being the last row

I have a question that might not be possible. I have several rows of figures that have totals (the sum of whatever is in that column)

    Ex:
    Customer Sales
    XXX Co. 100.00
    YYY Co. 150.00
    totals 250.00

I would like the total row to always be at the bottom of the last row I entered data in. Like a floating row that is always there with all the formulas I have entered.

Is there such an animal in Excel???

    Thank you
    Sandra

See the attached. To see how it works look at the sheet1 tab in the VBA editor. The code is reproduced below.

I see the code. And on sheet 1 in the Vba Editor I see the code. But it does nothing. I see a list of numbers with a total. But the total line does not move down as I add another number. Actually if I type a number over the total line, the total goes away and my new number is there instead.

What I would like to see is a total line that stays at the bottom of my last entry giving me a total of that column. (actually in MY worksheet, I have several columns that have totals) And every time I add more data (which would mean more rows naturally ) the total would reflect the changes and stay at the bottom of that column. It's rather hard to explain. I hope you get the idea.

If there is such a code...how do I apply it to my worksheet so that all my columns will have this floating total line. Some of my columns are calculations from another column.

It looks like the macro is behaving differently for you than it is for me.

Could you attach a copy of the workbook as there could be something in there which is making the code misbehave.

I can not figure out how to attach the file you attached in one of your replys to me. I can see it in 'managed attachments' on the thread, but it attaches in some other form of the file. The file you sent is 'Book 1' zip file.

But thanks for trying. It was just a thought. I will figure out something. Didn't mean for this to get so complicated.

    Thanks

Wow...it attached after all. I guess you can see it in my post just prior to this one. Sorry for the confusion.
