    Hide value "0"

    I’m sure that must be very simple.

    Let’s say, row c1 is a sum of a1+b1, c2=a2+b2 and so on. The thing is if there is no value in either a1 or b1 the value displayed in c1 is 0.00
    How can I hide this? I want excel to display value in c only if it is <>0

    Thx
    Peter

    Hi,

    Either a if statement

    =if(a1+b1=0,"",a1+b1)

    or

    Goto tools > options > View Tab > untick Zero Values

    Here's another way, use Conditional Formatting. Set Cell value is Equal to or less than 0, then format font to White

    With formatting

    If you only have positive values format C1:C2 as

    0.00;;

    to accommodate negative values

    0.00;-0.00;
