Is Current_File_Location a named range that refers only to a single cell? I'd check to see what path is being provided to the Workbooks.Open() call before I checked anything else.

    Hi,

Yes t is a single cell.

I have it looking at a blank file in C:\ drive.

I enclosed the workbook for analysis.

    Thanks for your help

John, if this is basically the same question as your other post, you should mark the other thread as solved so that nobody spends any more time on it.!

    Hi,

Other post not solved and this is a different attempt of mine to solve the same problem.

I did not want to make it to confusing by putting more into the other post.

But i will mark the other post as closed if you like.

Sorry if I make mistake, thanks John.

If you don't mark the other post solved, -- and fast! -- this one will be considered a duplicate post and I'll close it. Especially with regards to

this is a different attempt of mine to solve the same problem.
Feel free to add a note that the problem continues to be discussed here in this thread, after you've marked it solved. that should avoid confusion and duplicate efforts of our volunteers.

    cheers
