title a the bottom of the screen

    Hi Everyone

I am looking at putting a line of text at the bottom of the screen i.e. created by Michael Fairhurst. I have done this before in excel 2003 and I am wondering how to do it in excel 2010. Please see location doc to see what I mean. Also attached is my spreadsheet, feel free to give it a go. Im pretty sure it is a macro but it could just be a general setting in excel

    thanks in advance

    Mike

    ...putting what?
    1. Use code tags for VBA.
Your Code
(or use the # button)

Its a line which goes at the bottom of the screen - you can basically put who the document was created by etc - see attachment for location. I have done it before in excel and also access but this was back in the 2003 days of excel and now I am on 2010 and not sure how to do it. It might not be a macro, it could have been a general setting somewhere in excel

    thanks
