    how to specify file name but let user chose file location?

    Hi!

    I have a code to specify the file name, (see below) however it saves to the last folder I was in. I need to be able to let users choose which location to save the file. However, I also want to set the file name.

    I've looked on this forum and googled, tried the codes but they are very long and complicated. I saw one post that used the "save to" function, which brought up the Save As dialogue box, however I couldn't get my pre-named file to be chosen.

    I hope there is a simple solution out there! Thanks!!!!!!

    I use this for selecting and storing a folder path the user selects:

    THANK YOU!!!! That worked BEAUTIFULLY and wasn't some HUGE thing with tons of DIM and function things that got me completely confused! I knew there was a simple way to do it!!!!!!

    If that takes care of your need, please click EDIT in your original post, click GO ADVANCED and set the PREFIX box to SOLVED.
