range name not valid

    range name not valid

    Hello. I try to add a named range and it says name not valid!! I'm putting in jan13. Why would this not be valid. There are no other named ranges in the workbook

    Try jan_13 excel may be seeing that as a reserved name because its a date

    if you put jan13 it will Jump to cell JAN 13
