Formula updating when rows are added on other sheet

    Hello,
I want to know if it is possible for a formula to be updated when new rows are added on another sheet at the end of the rows included in the formula.

Attached example: If I add a row in Sheet1 under row 6, I want the formula in Sheet2 (cell B2) to update to

    Put phase 1 and phase 2 in adjacent columns (i.e. B1 is Phase 2, B2=20, B3=54)
    Then sum(sheet1!A:A)

    Thanks for you reply,

The sheet I attached is only an example. The real sheet I am working with is much more complex and therefore it's not possible to apply you suggestion. Maybe there needs to be a script or something for this to work?
