I want to protect the formulas in a table from people looking at the table. But I do want them to be able to extend the table (i.e. resize the table). Is there a way to do this?
Thanks

I do not have an answer to this question but I am hoping by bringing it up again, some one will be able to assist. Is it possible to protect a table or a sheet with a table but still allow the table to expand? I've tried making sure the table was part of the cells locked in the sheet. I've tried just locking certain cells and not the whole sheet, but neither efforts worked. Any suggestions out there?
Thanks,

Hello avsimmons , and welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately you have inadvertently broken one of the forum rules. Please read the following and make the necessary change. Thanks.
Your post does not comply with Rule 2 of our Forum RULES. Don't post a question in the thread of another member -- start your own thread. If you feel it's particularly relevant, provide a link to the other thread. It makes sense to have a new thread for your question because a thread with numerous replies can be off putting & difficult to pick out relevant replies.
I didn't intend to break any rules. I don't use message boards of any kind often for that very reason: rules. My thought process (which seems reasonable in a physical world) was to not recreate what had already been created. But, I will play along. It does seem quite a wasted effort though.
