    Advanced vlookup / rank formula

    Hi there,
I was wondering if anyone could help me with this.
I have attached a made up simplified version of my issue, and there is a reason that the data isn't set up in a much easier way!

I have a list of names in row 1 and a score & rank in rows 2 & 3. I was wondering if there was a way to flip reverse that data using formulas, to rank the names and scores vertically.

To make it easier I am looking for a formula to return the answers in grey in the box in yellow.

    Any help would be great!

    Thanks
    Sam

In C6, enter =INDEX($B$1:$U$1,MATCH(LARGE($B$2:$U$2,A6),$B$2:$U$2,0)) then fill the formula down.
