When I paste a cell of text as a picture and rotate it 180 degrees so it's upside down, the text in the picture becomes bold. Why? How do I get it to be not bold?
thanks

Why, don't know.
Copy as bitmap rather than picture.
If you want the picture to be linked to cell then you could use a shape instead, assuming all you want is the text.
ok 1010100101010
the only options are picture and linked picture,
both bold
will try the linked option
Here is what I get with the 3 approaches I mentioned
how do I paste as a linked shape?
I only see as picture

You don't paste as shape.
Simply insert the shape and then via the formula bar the =A1
or what ever cell you want to link to
