Hi all,
I use a shared workbook which is used by almost 30 users from multiple computers. After some time while saving this workbook this use to crash or show " File is locked" though no one would be saving at that time.
Is there a possible way to fix this??

The only thing I can think of, off the top off my head, is that, while no one may be saving, the file may be open on another computer, which, to me, suggests you are either not the originator of the file, OR, version control is not implemented, or not implemented properly..BUT, I am a relative newby in shared files, so I MAY have missed something

-Add a File - click advanced (next to quick post), scroll to manage attachments, click, select add files, click select files, select file, click upload, when file shows up at bottom left, click done (bottom right), click submit
-To mark thread Solved- go top of thread,click Thread Tools,click Mark as Solved

i know a way that can help you. I think it is the best way for you ti fix your problems. It is a add-in A-toos in Excel, it can help you to share your excel file in LAN or in Internet. In addition, it can help you to authorization for the other computer, what can connected to open what kinds of Excel file, what kinds of sheets, which have authorization to edit or only view, copy or print?
