    Conditional Formatting to Mark Dates on a Calendar

    Morning all,

    As per the attached file I have a calendar that I want mark the dates on as per the list on the right hand side.

    I thought conditional formatting would be the best way, however can't seem to find a rule that does what I want.

    I've hosted the file as follow:

    http://www.filedropper.com/example_2

    Purely because the file uploader for the forum is terrible.

    Many thanks,

    Thank you for the quick reply Lokesh, and for the file upload!

    Your rule works very well, but it only highlights if the values match, not if the date falls within the range, I don't think I was very clear in that, although the dates may not be the same in cell value, they will always fall within the week ranges.

    Thanks again,

    Select D3:E107 from top left (i.e. D3 has to be the first cell selected).

    Enter this rule in CF: =AND($D3>=$G$5,$E3<=$G$6)

    Format as desired...

    Ohh... if you just want start end dates highlighted where the each date on right falls within inclusive then follow same procedure with rule formula...

    =AND($G$5>=$D3,$G$5<=$E3)

    Repeat for $G$6 and $G$7
