Ok so this may or may not be possible, and if it is possible, i dont know if someone is willing to help....but here we go
I want to set up a spreadsheet to get the best possible fantasy football lineup based on projections while staying under a salary cap. A salary cap is placed on each player, by position, and also has a projected point total for each player. I will only be able to have a certain amount of each player on my roster. By staying under a certain total salary cap, i want to pick the players that will provide the highest total projected points...making sense? So i would have a table with QBs that have their name, projected points, and salary. The same for RB, WR, TE, K, and DEF. I want to pull information from all these tables to a new table that will give me 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, and 1 DEF with the highest total projected points while staying under a certain total salary. Even better, if I can get different combinations to see my options...for instance, the top 5 lists based on highest projected points while staying under certain salary.
I know this is very advanced, ive been looking up things about excel solver, lookup functions...i cant seem to add it all together to do what i need....is this possible?
any help would be awesome!!!
Thank you...
